When we ate here during our stay at Cheeca Lodge, the staff warmly welcomed us right away. We ordered a garden salad, Mahi, crab cakes, shrimp, and scallops. These dishes were full of flavors, and we loved them. Also, we paired them with two mojitos, which were delicious.
The service was exemplary, and there was live music on the terrace. The experience is fantastic, and we’ll be back for sure.

Since MEAT Eatery and Taproom opened in 2012 on Overseas Highway 1 in the Florida Keys, it has stood out among the seafood shacks and tiki pubs in Islamorada. It has now been voted the best burger in Florida several times, most recently in 2022.
It has a menu of meaty dishes like burgers, barbecue, and more. However, don’t let the name fool you. MEAT Eatery and Taproom offer gluten-free and healthy options, creative dishes, and brilliant craft beers.
The Inside-Out Juicy Lucy burger is the best thing on the menu. This Angus burger has bacon, Pimento cheese, lettuce, American cheese, and tomato on top.
Not up for a burger? The home-smoked chicken wings, Catch of the Day Sandwich, and chicken tenders are also terrific options.
On the other hand, it is best to enjoy one of the 12 craft beers in the taproom. There is also a carefully chosen list of organic wines and sodas made in-house that we know you will love.

This place is famous with tourists and locals and is always busy. We recommend making a reservation or getting there early to avoid the crowds, especially if you want to secure a seat overlooking the scenery.
The fish and chips, calamari, fish tacos, turkey club, and beyond burger are among our standard orders when we go to this area. Each is delicious and satisfying.
As for drinks, we recommend trying one of the bar’s specialty cocktails. There is also a happy hour, so if you like to try more than one drink, you can reap the benefits.

When it comes to food, this restaurant’s menu has a lot of American classics and regular bar food.
We recommend the wedge salad of this place. It comes with bacon bits, crisp iceberg, blue cheese crumbles, and raspberry vinaigrette on the topping. It’s distinct from the typical salad, so you’ll love it.

As a starter, you could try their Steamed Ginger Pork Dumplings, Tuna Nachos, or Stuffed Avocado.
Try Mount Fuji if you love sushi. It has a California roll with shrimp, scallops, crab, ponzu mayo, and sweet sriracha.
