If you are searching for the ideal spot for a date or ladies’ night out in the Newburyport area, look no further than Bar 25!

Bar 25 is renowned for its delicious small plates, Mediterranean food, and artisanal cocktails. This three-story restaurant provides an intimate and welcoming atmosphere with weekly live music.

There are three floors with totally different atmospheres. The first floor is a hopping restaurant/bar with urban vibes, which the second floor is more of an upscale, classic dining area. The third floor (my personal favorite) has small couch/tables and a piano with a speakeasy vibe.

The food here is absolutely delicious and so fresh! There are both small dishes and entrees, all with a Mediterranean twist.

We began our last meal with lentils, naan bread, french fries, and mushrooms. Everything was delectable, but the truffle parmesan fries stole always steal the show.

Our entrees consisted of chicken kabobs served over rice and accompanied by sautéed tomatoes. The chicken was perfectly prepared and very flavorful! The rice is delicious, and the grilled tomato provided the ideal amount of flavor to cut through the dish’s richness.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. While I love the entrees, I personally recommend getting a bunch of small plates to share with the group, especially if you sit up in the third floor lounge.
