Hooligans Food & Drink is popular with both residents and visitors. It’s tucked away on a quiet side street and isn’t as flashy as some other restaurants in the area, but it serves up delicious, reasonably priced food in a relaxing setting.
You can observe the bartenders at work from a seat at the bar. This group is in constant motion all night long. But there’s a good chance you’ll have to wait for your food because the place is so busy. And trust me: it’s totally worth the wait!
During our last visit, we dined on haddock which was cooked and stuffed. The fish was a nice size, and the baking and coating didn’t overshadow it. We highly recommend this meal! We also had amazing mashed potatoes on the side.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at Hooligan. We recommend it to everyone searching for a good time with good food and excellent service. It’s one of our go-to restaurants in North Conway for solidly yummy food.

2115 White Mountain Hwy, North Conway, NH | Asian, Thai, Vegetarian Friendly | $11 – $30 | Tuesday to Sunday 11:00 am – 9:00 pm | Dine-in, Drive-through
You can’t go wrong with a meal at the Thai Nakornping Restaurant, which has earned a stellar reputation for its authentic Asian fare. This Thai restaurant is among the finest restaurants in North Conway.
The restaurant’s lack of pretension is part of its charm. Often, the most enjoyable dining experience is in the most inconspicuous establishments.
It’s always quick to get your order, and they also have kid-friendly options. Two meal options are available: dining in or taking it to go. Drunken noodles, pad thai, teriyaki chicken, pa nang curry, and countless other delectable dishes are available. On top of that, their costs are low-to-moderately reasonable.
We started with a glass of plum wine, then moved on to a plate of crab Rangoon and a dish of pineapple fried rice with medium heat.
Along with your main course, we recommend the House Fried Rice. Eggs, cucumber, scallions, tomatoes, onions, and peas make up the ingredients. It’s super, super fresh!
Don’t pass up the Pad Prik Pao if you have a penchant for fiery flavors. Among the ingredients are chili paste, scallions, green peppers, onions, carrots, fresh herbs, baby corn, plus bamboo shoots.

The “Windows On Main Street” display is the main attraction. You’ll understand why it got its name once you’ve made your way up to this dining area on the restaurant’s upper level.

At Horsefeathers, we split a Bavarian pretzel, a plate of Nachos Grande, and order of Horse Fries. The outside of the heated pretzel had a modest stiffness, while the middle was soft without being soggy. We’ve had better nachos, but these were excellent. They were in melted cheese, but it wasn’t too much. Horsefries, which came oval like French fries, were delicious.
This is one of the best restaurants in North Conway and the most popular for a reason!

The restaurant has a lot of natural light thanks to the big windows and ceilings. The design is beautiful. It’s one of our favorite North Conway restaurants for a night out with friends since it’s a great scene!
Plus, if you register for their text messages, you’ll get a complimentary basket of truffle fries—all at a price that’s hard to beat. The service was excellent, including the kind wait staff.
It should come as no surprise that the meal here was superb. Because we were too busy eating our salt and vinegar wings, we failed to take a photo of them. Both the burger and the fish and chips were enormous. Not only do they serve excellent bloody Marys, but they also have a wide range of local brews available on tap.
The Apple Blackberry Crisp is a delicious choice for dessert. Features warm apple and cherry compote, vanilla ice cream, a crisp handmade top, and whipped cream.

Modern pendant lights, an expansive bar, and a wall of windows provide an inviting atmosphere complemented by a large outdoor patio during the warmer months.
Initially, we sipped on some enticing and potent cocktails. The dry-rubbed wings and cream cheese melt were delicious.
Super meaty and perfectly seasoned, the wings were fantastic. Wrapped with bacon and stuffed with figs, the cream cheese melt was a delicious treat. Our Wagyu burger was perfect in the medium setting. The onion circles were the best part of this meal, but the sweet potato and standard fries were also tasty.
The bread pudding featuring vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce was a fantastic ending to our meal.
In sum, we were pleased with our visit and would return. Head to this restaurant to experience a truly satisfying meal.

Starting in December 2013, Abenaki Trail Restaurant & Pub grew from one of the least relevant restaurants to one of the best in North Conway.
The restaurant works hard to make its diners happy. You can even contact the restaurant’s owner, Danielle Jones, for assistance.
Seafood, poultry, steaks, and burgers all come out fresh rather than frozen, setting it apart from other corporate operations.
The restaurant is spacious and has an airy atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for families with children. If your children get restless while sitting at the table, you can take comfort because there is a marked play area nearby.
The service from the waiting staff is also excellent. Everyone here is amiable and willing to help. The listing is extensive, so there is no doubt that you will find something on it that you will enjoy eating, and the costs are fair.
We thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips. The fish was deliciously fresh, savory, and juicy, and the crust was light and crisp. The cole slaw, presented in the unusual form of large chunks, was delicious and crispy. French fries were delicious, as was the sour cream.
As a dessert, we indulged in a homemade wild blueberry pie with a generous helping of ice cream.
The staff is helpful, efficient, and will give you enough information. You will also love the relaxed atmosphere! The food quality, however, is what we care about most, and that is what you will get.

Charlie Doe conceived the concept for the restaurant when he wanted to open a location that offered more than just good meals. He aimed to provide the community with a gathering spot—a site where customers could obtain good, honest meals at reasonable costs.
Today, the results of that foresight are precise. Everyone, from visitors to staff members to locals, is given the utmost regard at the 99 Restaurant.
The famed tall, frosted mugs of beer at 99 Restaurant are renowned, as are the breaded Boneless Buffalo Wings, trademark Broiled Sirloin Tips, and more. Everything is prepared in a hearty New England fashion, perfect for sharing with loved ones.
Plus, it has a welcoming and pleasant dining area where you can relax and have a delicious dinner. You can also enjoy the famed Thursday Night Trivia at the bar, which has a local pub vibe thanks to its communal tables.
The restaurant’s menu offers plenty of choices for those who are having trouble sticking to their diet or meal plan,
We split the Mediterranean chicken bowl with romaine, olives, vegetables, rice, tzatziki, feta, and chicken marinated in lemon rosemary. It was so delightful that we could not leave our table.
Even more delicious than the deep-fried cauliflower is the Gold Fever chicken. Also, the grilled asparagus is unlike anything we’ve ever tasted.
When you dine here, you’ll immediately feel at ease. The food is steadily delicious, and the atmosphere is never pretentious.
7. Vito Marcello’s Italian Bistro
45 Seavey St, North Conway, NH | Italian, Vegetarian Friendly, Vegan Options | $12 – $28 | Wednesday to Sunday 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm | Dine-in, Takeout

The ambiance at this restaurant is charming, and the food is excellent. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy your meal on the restaurant’s lovely patio while gazing at the surrounding mountains.
Its elegant atmosphere and excellent Italian fare have earned this restaurant a stellar reputation.
The menu at this restaurant comes with plenty of options, including many wines. It features almost every kind of pasta imaginable, from ravioli to calamari to arancini. Even a particular part of the menu is set aside for children’s selections.
But what makes this place stand out is the excellent service, generous portions, and friendly employees. It’s a significant selling point for eating out for establishments in more rural areas.
Since it is so popular among the locals, you should make a reservation. It’s fantastic for a small, private meal for two but not great if you’re hosting a large group. Takeout is always available if you’re too tired to cook after a day of hiking and exploring the mountains in North Conway.
If you go, order the Chicken Parm with the side of bolognese. The bolognese sauce is fantastic. With such flavor, we could quickly finish off a large bowl. Also, you can take home some homemade salad dressing.
Even better than the main course was the Italian coffee served afterward. The flavor was intense, and the kick was just right.
Other beverages are available that are just as tasty. Stop by, and we guarantee you’ll leave satisfied.
6. Moat Mountain Smokehouse & Brewing Co.

Moat Mountain Smokehouse is one of many great restaurants and bars along White Mountain Highway, but it’s the best.
Smoked meats like Texas-style barbecue and Carolina-style pork ribs are just examples of the tasty fare that greets you on the menu. Gluten-free and vegan alternatives are also available, so guests of all dietary preferences can enjoy them.
We highly recommend Moat Mountain as one of the most outstanding brewers in New Hampshire to accompany any meal. The good news is that this brewery offers a wide variety of beers, both year-round staples just like Boneshaker Brown Ale and limited edition seasonals such as the Clockwork Mandarina.
We’ve looked around New Hampshire; this is the most extensive beer flight we’ve seen.
The restaurant’s attentiveness to its patrons is another reason it stands out. Moat Mountain staff will treat you like royalty, even during their busiest moments.
There is sufficient room for both intimate gatherings and significant events. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and you can feel safe and secure in any part.
We had an entree of brisket and a plate of Santa Fe nachos. Both of which we loved.
The brisket was delicious and tender, and we served it with slaw and mashed butternut squash in place of potatoes. With its taste, we can eat a pound of it.
The nachos are a tasty bonus. They have a lot of delicious stuff packed in there! Any choice you choose from the menu is a safe one.
Overall, it’s a good bet to make a return visit to this restaurant.

You’ll appreciate the restaurant’s warm ambiance if you’re looking for a laid-back place to eat. It is a casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, rustic decor, a lively bar, and a relaxed environment.
We headed to this location, which was extremely crowded but well worth the wait. We ordered a Reuben, a Turkey Avocado Sandwich, a Chicken Piccata, plus a few beverages for the table.
While the sandwiches were delicious, the winners were the steamed mussels. An authentic New England delicacy! On the other hand, the chicken piccata is a reliable option. You should try it as well.
Not merely is the food enjoyable, but the service is also excellent. Even though quite busy, the wait staff were always pleasant and humorous, making the restaurant a great stop.
4. Flatbread Company

Pizza lovers of all stripes might find something to love at the local restaurant Flatbread Company.
They’re a local favorite in North Conway not only for the quality of their food but because they support the community by buying from nearby farms and businesses whenever feasible. You’ll enjoy your meal here even if you don’t eat meat or gluten.
All the meats can be free-range, and all the vegetables are organic, so the meals are full of healthy, tasty goodness. Still, the rustic, open-concept clay ovens where flatbreads are ready will likely be the highlight of your meal.
There’s something on the menu for nearly every kind of eater. The pesto margarita flatbread, which combines classic pizza toppings with pesto made from spinach and basil, is a big hit in the area.
Any pizza fan who enjoys pineapple should try Mopsy’s Kalua Pork Pie, which features a handmade Mango BBQ sauce.
We had a table close to the kitchen, and watching how they made the flatbreads were entertaining. Even more amusing were the menu covers that kids had drawn.
The flatbreads we ordered were delicious, but the Kalua Pie was exceptional and tasty. The grid-style slices occasionally led to crusty parts, but the crust itself was a hit.
The No Boundaries Salad is a good option if you like a more natural and organic salad. Toasted sesame seeds, a handmade ginger-tamari vinaigrette, carrots, onions, Maine sea kelp, and more are just some ingredients in this tasty salad.
3. Delaney’s Hole In the Wall

Since its opening in 1994, Delaney’s has become a favorite of Valley residents and visitors thanks to its delicious food, a wide selection of drinks, and lively atmosphere.
The Hole in the Wall Gang, a clever lot, takes the best and freshest of the local produce and meats to make a delightful dinner for customers. They can adjust the recipe to include or exclude any specific component at your request.

They also serve a delightful basket of creamy garlic bread, a healthy harvest quinoa salad, Delany’s original BBQ chicken pizza, and a wide variety of other delicious dishes.
We sat near the sushi bar during our visit. The two rolls we ordered were fantastic. Warm spicy lover rolls were our absolute favorite. Next up was the seafood tempura dragon roll.
A satisfying cheese pizza followed the amazing chicken wings. The meal’s dough and sauce are homemade and fantastic, although the pizzas are on the small side. Nonetheless, it is suitable for sharing if you also order other things.
Delaney is not even close to being a hole in the wall! Quickly, it is one of our favorite restaurants in the North Conway area.

To us, though, nothing beats the pastrami sandwich. The pastrami cheese and sautéed onions imparted a sweet flavor. It is the one thing you should get if you’re dining in this restaurant.
Try the Gaelic pizza, which features mashed potatoes, for a unique take on traditional pizza toppings. Children can eat burgers, while vegetarians can appreciate a grilled portabella sandwich.
